About this training

Yoga through the living body

This heart-centred training explores yoga through physiology, interoception and embodied experience.

You’ll investigate how breathing, movement, sensation, attention and the nervous system interact, and how that understanding informs both your own practice and the way you teach others, if you want to.

Held over a six-month container, this training gives you time to absorb what you’re learning while keeping your momentum towards becoming a teacher. Between blocks, you’ll continue your personal practice, complete reading and assignments, and practise teaching.

Not sure you want to teach?

You don’t have to want to teach

Plenty of people do teacher training just to understand their own practice properly. If you’ve ever left a class wondering why we do things the way we do, this training is for you too.

  • Understand what’s actually happening in your body when you practise, and how to look after it
  • Build a personal practice you can keep coming back to, on and off the mat
  • Explore yoga philosophy in a way that makes sense in everyday life
  • Spend six months with a lovely group of people who are just as curious as you
  • Keep the door open. If you decide to teach later, you’ll be qualified and ready

You also don’t need to put your foot behind your head. Bring your curiosity and we’ll teach you everything else.

“Having embarked on the course to further my own knowledge rather than to qualify as a teacher, I was slightly nervous I would be out of my depth. This couldn’t be further from the truth. The course is perfect for anyone wanting to teach now, in the future, or just to deepen their own yoga practice.”

Why we created this training

We want you to leave this training able to teach yoga. Not just to lead one particular sequence, or work with one particular group of students.

By training in both Hatha Yoga and Vinyasa Flow, you’ll learn to create classes for people with different levels of experience, ages, abilities and energy. You’ll develop the confidence to adapt your teaching, respond to the people in front of you and offer practices that are accessible.

This breadth also gives you more options when you start teaching. You’ll be able to teach different styles of class, take on a wider range of cover opportunities and gain valuable experience with different students and settings.

But we don’t expect you to graduate with every part of your identity as a teacher already decided.

We see this training as the foundation for the teacher you’ll become over the years that follow. As you teach, deepen your own practice and continue your inner work, you’ll see what matters most to you, who you feel drawn to teach and how you want your classes to feel.

Our aim is to give you a broad, dependable foundation from which your own teaching voice can emerge, so that, with experience, you can teach with growing confidence, authenticity and heart.

Hi, I’m Holly!

I’ve been teaching on yoga teacher trainings since 2018. In that time, I’ve learnt, experienced and studied how someone takes in the information they need to teach a safe and beneficial yoga class, and what it takes to give someone the self-belief that they can do it.

Spoiler alert: the self-belief that you can teach yoga comes from teaching yoga. That’s why, on our training, you teach from Day 2! Yes, really. It’s flipping nerve-wracking, but by the end of the training, you’ll thank me.

I’m more than happy to be a cheerleader on the sidelines shouting “you can do this!”, but knowing that you can comes from the doing.

I also love sharing evidence-based research on why yoga is so powerful: for managing stress and anxiety, easing pain (including chronic pain), improving the connection with our bodies, and so much more.

In short, teaching yoga teacher trainings is a joy. I love seeing the bonds form within the group, and I love watching people break down the “I can’t…” barriers they’ve built up over their lives. I love it all, and I hope you will too!

What Holly’s graduates say

“In short, I can confidently say the 200hr vinyasa training with Holly changed my life. As a chronic perfectionist, I’d always had a love/hate relationship with yoga… within the first couple of hours of the course I knew I was exactly where I needed to be. The sheer amount of practical teaching experience you get (literally from day two!) is awesome. Terrifying at first, yes, but when you reach the end you’ve already taught countless classes, so the confidence is there to go out and teach in the real world straight away.”

Iain R

“When I started the course, I felt like someone who does yoga. Now, after the course, I feel like someone who teaches yoga. It is probably the best thing that I have ever done.”

David S

“At 55 I had given up on my dreams as I simply thought it was too late for me. You are never too old to follow your dreams. Self-doubt held me back, but you helped me to believe in myself, and for that I’ll be truly thankful.”

Karen M

“Going through the Yoga Teacher Training exceeded my expectations, and gave me all the tools to be where I am now: teaching multiple yoga classes every week in my local area and thriving with busy classes and a wonderful community of regular clients. How it was structured was perfect, meaning I didn’t have to be away from my daughter for long periods.”

Jodie Burgin

“I have graduated feeling full up on knowledge and confident in my knowledge too. Holly’s approach to teaching is beautiful. Everything is delivered in a non-judgemental, accessible and friendly way. If you’re considering it, do it. You won’t regret it.”

Georgina H

“As someone with an underlying health condition, there was so much effort made to make the adjustments necessary for the course to be accessible to me. With the traditions of yoga at the heart of the course, I have graduated feeling confident to honour the spiritual and philosophical side of the practice while navigating yoga safely and professionally.”

Kendra H

“Making the decision to do this training was one of the scariest things I’ve ever done, but from the first day, Holly and the whole team made me feel at ease, welcome, and held by such a wonderful sense of community. Yes, you’ll be asked to step outside your comfort zone, but you’ll be supported each time you do.”

Kaitlyn B

“There are good gaps between blocks which allow for lessons to be digested and individual work and growth to be undertaken, and yet it’s not so spaced out that normal life can’t resume around it. I’d highly recommend it and already have done so!”

Rachel S

“I finished the course feeling fully confident to teach, and also equipped with some invaluable yoga business knowledge. Equally important were the friendships and connections that I made with my fellow trainees.”

Lee B

“I thought I was going on a course to learn how to teach others yoga, but this was so much more than that. I ended up learning so much about myself.”

Henry N

“Day 1 I found myself feeling unsure about how I would ever understand anatomy, but it’s fast becoming one of my favourite parts! However complex the lesson may be, you feel free to ask as many questions as you need.”

Bryony

“If you are thinking about doing your YTT with Holly, I would highly recommend you bite the bullet and do it! I learnt so much about myself and how the principles of yoga can feed into my life on and off the mat.”

Questions you might have

Do I have to want to teach?

Not at all. Many people take teacher training to deepen their own practice and understanding of yoga. You’ll learn just as much, and if you decide to teach later, you’ll be qualified and ready.

Am I too old?

In short, no. Absolutely not! We’ve had graduates enjoy the course, pass the assessment with flying colours and go on to teach in their 60s. In fact, it’s important that we have yoga teachers in their more senior years, who can teach yogis in their more senior years. However old you are, you’re not too old.

Do I need a certain level of flexibility?

Absolutely not. In fact, we think it really helps to have your own challenges you’re working on in your practice. It makes it easier to connect with your students.

How much prior knowledge do I need?

Everything you already know will be useful on the training, and when you teach yoga if you decide to. That said, we teach you everything you need to know.

Will I be able to teach straight after the training?

We’re confident you will. Trainees teach each other all the way through the training, so it starts to feel like second nature. Towards the end, we encourage you to teach the general public, with our careful and nurturing guidance.

What if I can’t do the splits, headstand or other asanas?

First things first: safety. You won’t be teaching asanas that you don’t have lots of experience doing yourself. That aside, having your own things you’re working on makes you accessible as a teacher, and your students will really connect with that. So if there are asanas you’re working towards, or have no intention of ever doing, that doesn’t stop you becoming a yoga teacher. (In the interests of complete clarity, it does stop you teaching those asanas.)

What happens if I miss any of the course?

Believe it or not, life carries on even while we do our trainings! We have a solid system in place to catch you up, with revisited content and extra homework if you miss a day or two, or extra tuition if you miss more.

Does the course cover the business side of yoga?

Yes, absolutely. We’re passionate about yoga teachers feeling secure in their income, healthy, nourished and well rested, and a lot of that comes from setting up and running a yoga business well.

Can I add the Yin training?

Yes. You can take the Yin training alongside the 200-hour course, add it later, or complete it as a standalone training. Booking both together gives you the best price. Find out about the Yin training.

How much does the training cost?

200-hour Hatha & Vinyasa Flow: £2,950 super early bird (pay in full by 30th November 2026), or £3,350 standard, when you pay in full. Or a £595 deposit followed by 10 monthly payments of £290 (£3,495 in total).

200-hour + Yin training: £3,495 super early bird (pay in full by 30th November 2026), or £3,895 standard, when you pay in full. Or a £595 deposit followed by 10 monthly payments of £340 (£3,995 in total).

Course fees must be paid in full by the course start date, Friday 10th September 2027.

How do I apply and book?

Training places are booked through Bookwhen, not our usual Momence studio booking system. Bookwhen is the booking platform we use for our education courses with The Yoga Solution, so you won’t find the training on the Love Yoga timetable or app.

Places are by application. Fill in the application form, and once you’ve been offered a place we’ll send you a link to book and pay on Bookwhen. If you’d like to talk it through first, you can book a call with Holly, but you don’t have to. Your booking confirmation will come from Bookwhen by email.

Our Open Day is different: it’s booked through Momence, using the links on this page.

Can I pay in instalments?

Yes. Secure your place with a £595 deposit, then pay the rest by monthly Direct Debit.

Book by 30th November 2026 and you get 10 monthly payments: £290 a month for the 200-hour (£3,495 in total), or £340 a month for the 200-hour + Yin (£3,995 in total).

After you book, we’ll email you a link to set up your Direct Debit. It takes a couple of minutes. Payments are then taken automatically on the 1st of each month, and we’ll email you an invoice before each one.

All payments must be completed by the course start date, Friday 10th September 2027, so your last payment is on 1st September 2027.

You can use Klarna or Clearpay for your deposit.

I’ve missed the November deadline. Can I still pay in instalments?

Yes. Pay your £595 deposit, then split the rest equally across the months left before the course starts. Your total stays the same: £3,495 for the 200-hour, or £3,995 for the 200-hour + Yin. Payments are taken by Direct Debit on the 1st of each month, with the last one on 1st September 2027.

What’s your cancellation policy?

We keep it simple. If you cancel, the refund depends on when you tell us:

  • 10th December 2026 to 9th March 2027: 50% of what you’ve paid

If you’re on a payment plan and cancel before 10th June 2027, your Direct Debit stops and your refund is based on what you’ve paid so far.
