Liz Teaches Hatha Flow, Vinyasa Flow & Soothing Pop-ups

Hi, I’m Liz (Betty Yoga). My classes offer a welcoming space to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with what feels good in your body. Whether we’re flowing gently with the seasons, resting in stillness, or exploring the breath as a guide, my intention is always to support greater awareness, presence, and ease, both on and off the mat.

You don’t need to be flexible, experienced, or “good” at yoga to practice. Just come as you are, I’ll meet you there. I teach with a thoughtful, intuitive, and seasonal approach, often weaving in mudra, mantra, and breathwork to support whatever you might be carrying; physically, emotionally, or energetically.

Is there a quote, mantra, or philosophy that guides your teaching – or your life?

“Maybe the journey isn’t so much about becoming anything. Maybe it’s about un-becoming everything that isn’t really you, so you can be who you were meant to be in the first place.”
Paulo Coelho

  • What inspired you to become a yoga teacher? Yoga brought me steadiness and joy in challenging seasons. Teaching felt like a natural way to share that.
  • Teaching style & space? Welcoming, warm, and down-to-earth. Gentle, intuitive, and seasonal practices.
  • How do you want people to feel after class? More connected to themselves, resourced, and a little lighter.
  • First-time experience? A friendly, inclusive space with options. No pressure – just show up as you are.
  • Quote/Philosophy? “Life is more delicious with adventure and laughter.” A playful, curious, and soulful approach to yoga and life.

Fun fact? Closet Twitcher! Loves birdwatching, nature, travel, good food, retreats – and Leeds Rhinos!
