Love Yoga Leeds Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to all services offered by Love Yoga Leeds, located at 378 Meanwood Road, Leeds, LS7 2JF. By using our website or booking any classes, workshops, courses, or events, you agree to the following terms.

Bookings and Payments

All bookings must be made in advance using our booking system, Momence. Payment is required at the time of booking. If a refund is due, it will be credited to your Love Yoga Leeds account on Momence, not your bank account.

Classes

Classes must be pre-booked and prepaid. If you hold a class pass, sessions will be automatically deducted. You must cancel at least 12 hours before the class starts to receive a credit. Cancellations made within 12 hours are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Please arrive and sign in at least 10 minutes before class starts. For safety and respect for other participants:

  • We are unable to permit entry once the class has started and the door has been closed.
  • The front door will be locked during class.
  • Late arrivals will be marked as a late cancellation and no refund or credit will be given.

All class refunds are added to your Love Yoga Leeds account and can be used for any future bookings.

Class pass validity periods are available on our booking system and may vary by pass type. We are unable to offer any class pass extensions unless there is a valid medical need with a hospital note.

Refunds & Cancellations

Payment Processing Fees

All refunds are subject to a deduction of the non-refundable payment processing fee charged at the time of booking.

Payments made via PayPal Pay in 3 incur higher processing fees, which are non-refundable and will be deducted from any refund or credit issued.

Workshops

  • Workshop bookings cancelled 21 days or more before the workshop date will receive a credit to your Love Yoga Leeds account (minus the payment processing fee).
  • Cancellations within 21 days of the workshop date are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Courses

  • Course bookings cancelled within 60 days of the course start date are non-refundable.
  • Course bookings cancelled before the 60 day cancellation window are refundable minus the card processing fees
  • If a course is rescheduled, the original cancellation terms still apply.

Retreats

Cancellations within 21 days of the retreat start date are non-refundable and non-transferable. 

Retreat bookings cancelled 21 days or more before the retreat start date will receive a credit to your Love Yoga Leeds account (minus the payment processing fee).

Workshops and Immersions

Workshops and immersions must be booked and paid for in advance. You may cancel up to 14 days before the event to receive a full credit to your Love Yoga Leeds account. Cancellations made within 14 days are non-refundable.

Kids Yoga Club Terms & Conditions

Cancellations & Refunds

  • Bookings are non-refundable.
  • Cancellations made 14 days or more before the start date will receive a full refund.
  • Cancellations made less than 14 days before the start date are non-refundable. However, places may be transferred to another child with prior written consent from Love Yoga Leeds.

Health & Safety

  • Parents/guardians must complete all required health and consent forms before their child attends Kids Yoga Club. Without completed forms, children will not be permitted to take part.
  • It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to inform Love Yoga Leeds of any medical conditions, injuries, allergies, or additional needs at the time of booking.
  • Children must bring their own packed lunch and water bottle. Love Yoga Leeds is a nut-free environment — please ensure all food is free from nuts.
  • Love Yoga Leeds staff will take all reasonable care to provide a safe environment. However, parents/guardians accept that participation in physical activity carries inherent risk.
  • Children must follow teacher instructions at all times to ensure their own safety and the safety of others. Repeated unsafe or disruptive behaviour may result in a child being asked to leave, without refund.
  • Love Yoga Leeds is not responsible for the loss or damage of personal belongings brought to Kids Yoga Club.

By booking a place at Kids Yoga Club, you agree to these terms and conditions.

Gift Vouchers

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers are valid for 90 days from the date of purchase. Expired vouchers cannot be redeemed. Vouchers can be used for any service booked via Momence at Love Yoga Leeds.

Eligibility

Our services are available only to private individuals (consumers). By registering, you confirm you are using our services for personal use. If we discover you are not a consumer, we reserve the right to cancel your registration and refund any unused sessions on a pro-rata basis.

You must be aged 18 or over to attend, or aged 13–17 accompanied by an adult. We may request proof of age.

Fitness, Health and Safety

Yoga sessions can be physically demanding. You take part voluntarily and accept responsibility for your health and wellbeing. Some services may not be suitable for people with specific medical conditions. Please seek medical advice before attending if needed.

You must inform us of any injuries, health conditions, or if you are pregnant (especially in your first trimester). We may advise against attendance or provide adapted guidance. If we later discover a relevant condition that wasn’t disclosed, we reserve the right to cancel future bookings. Refunds in such cases will be pro-rated.

You must not attend under the influence of alcohol or drugs or immediately after a heavy meal. Arriving late after the class has begun will result in your place being forfeited without refund.

Do not use studio equipment unless shown how by a teacher. All equipment must be used safely and respectfully.

Studio Guidelines

To maintain a peaceful, respectful environment for everyone:

  • No smoking or vaping anywhere on site
  • Phones must be on switched off and/or silent mode with no vibration activated and unused during class
  • No unaccompanied children under 13 (unless for a kids yoga class), or unregistered guests
  • No animals allowed (guide dogs are welcome with notice)
  • No food, hot drinks, or glassware (drinking water is provided)

You are welcome to bring your own mat and towel. If not, mats will be provided. Please wear comfortable, clean yoga attire. Avoid clothes with zips, jewellery that may catch, or muddy shoes. Shoes must be removed before entering the studio.

Follow all safety instructions from teachers, including fire and emergency protocols.

Events Beyond Our Control

We are not liable for delays or cancellations caused by events outside our control (e.g., weather disruptions, illness, technical failures). If we cancel a session, we will offer a full refund or credit for that session. Class passes will not be extended.

Class Cancellations & Exceptional Circumstances

While we make every effort to run all scheduled classes, there may be occasions where we need to cancel due to unforeseen or exceptional circumstances, such as teacher illness, building maintenance, access issues, or other events beyond our control. We are committed to paying our teachers fairly for their qualifications, training, experience, and energy, which means that from time to time, cancellations may also occur if attendance levels make running the class unsustainable.

In these cases, we will notify you as soon as possible via email or text. Where possible, we will offer an alternative class for you to attend. Please note that we do not extend the validity period of class passes or memberships in the event of a cancellation.

If the cancelled session is part of a series, you will be refunded the session’s value based on a pro-rata calculation of the full series price.

Data Protection

We take your privacy seriously. Please refer to our Privacy Policy to understand how your data is collected and used.

Website Use

Our website is provided “as is.” While we strive to ensure it is accurate and accessible, we do not guarantee uninterrupted use or freedom from errors. We are not responsible for indirect, economic, or consequential losses resulting from its use.
