Class Bookings & Deciding Which Class To Join

At Love Yoga Leeds, our mission is simple: to create a heart-centered space where everyone feels seen, supported, and inspired through the practice of yoga. Whether you're stepping onto the mat for the first time, returning after a break, or deepening your journey, we're here to hold space for you. We believe yoga is for every body — and we’re committed to making our classes, events, and community inclusive, empowering, and full of heart. Have questions? We’ve gathered the most common ones below to help you feel confident, informed, and ready to join us. 💛
Where is Love Yoga Leeds located?
Love Yoga Leeds is based in in Chapel House Business Centre, 378 Meanwood Road, Leeds LS7 2JF. We are located in a beautiful old church that was home to a yoga studio for over a decade. We’ve lovingly revamped it into a warm and welcoming heart-centered studio.
Do you have parking?
We have a carpark which you can access by driving down Cliffdale Road (adjacent to the church) and follow the road road round and take the first right (next to the church).

The carpark is shared with the flexible offices in the Chapel House Business Centre so depending on the time of day when attend there might be space to park. If there is no space you can access ample off-street parking around the studio.

There is a loading bay on Cliffdale Road, please make sure you do not park in the loading bay unless after 5pm - but please check the street sign to avoid a parking ticket.
Do I need to book in advance?
Yes, booking in advance is recommended as class sizes are capped to maintain comfort and quality. You can book online via our website or via the Momence app. Simply download the app from the App Store and search for Love Yoga Leeds.
What time do I need to arrive for a class or workshops
We recommend arriving 10–15 minutes before the start time so you can settle in, find your space, and ease into the session without feeling rushed. The studio doors open 15 minutes before class and close promptly when we begin, so please aim to be on time — it helps us maintain a calm and focused space for everyone.
How do I know which class to join?

Great question — and we’re here to help! If you’re new to yoga, our Beginners Course is a great place to start. It’s a 4-week journey designed to build confidence, strength, and understanding of the foundations of yoga.

If you can't commit to the dates and times of our beginners course or you’re looking for something more flexible we recommend our all levels classes. Opting for a Hatha, Hatha and Restore or slow flow class is a great place to start.

If you want to energise and move a vinyasa flow or dynamic class might be for you.

Still unsure? Just drop us a message at [email protected] — we’re happy to guide you to the perfect class for your needs, experience, and energy levels.

What is the appropriate clothing for yoga practice?

We recommend wearing comfortable, stretchy clothing that allows you to move freely — such as leggings, joggers, or shorts with a t-shirt or vest. You don’t need any special yoga gear — just something you feel relaxed and supported in.

For slower styles like Restorative or Yin yoga, we suggest bringing extra layers such as a long-sleeve top, jumper, and cosy socks to stay warm and comfortable during longer holds and relaxation.

Yoga is practised barefoot, but you’re welcome to wear socks during rest or slower-paced classes. Just come as you are and wear what feels good for you!

If I am a beginner where do I start?

You’re in exactly the right place — we welcome beginners with open arms at Love Yoga Leeds!

We recommend starting with our Hatha for Beginners class, a gentle and accessible session designed to introduce you to the basics of yoga, including movement, breath, and relaxation. Our Flow & Restore and Healing Restorative classes are also great options if you’re looking for something slower-paced and nurturing.

All of our teachers create a supportive, non-judgmental space where you can go at your own pace — no flexibility or experience required. Just bring yourself, wear something comfortable, and come with an open mind. We’ll guide you every step of the way.

Is it necessary to buy yoga props such as a mat, blocks, and a belt for classes?

Not at all — we provide everything you need for your practice at Love Yoga Leeds, including mats, blocks, bolsters, straps, blankets, and eye pillows.

You’re welcome to bring your own mat or props if you prefer, but there’s no need to purchase anything before attending. Just come as you are — we’ve got you covered!
